Pandemic was a challenging period for the entire world that has affected the whole world. We all have witnessed a major transition in the way educational institutions deliver education. To ensure the safety of students and other staff members there is a shift from Offline education to Online education This major distortion has forged the mode of learning and teaching for both the students and teachers. Since it’s very difficult for the students to develop social skills and enhance critical thinking ability in online mode of education, Classroom learning not only helps in developing organizational skills and helps them to understand how to work under pressure. E learning has its own pros and cons compared to classroom learning (offline learning) it cannot be a permanent substitute for traditional learning .
It’s almost THREE YEARS since DU(Delhi University) closed . The News regarding the opening of Delhi University has surfaced ever since DDMA gave its nod for resumption of offline classes. Rumors are DU is now planning to resume offline classes regarding which detailed orders would be published soon.
- Delhi University’s Vice-Chancellor, VC Yogesh Singh has notified that the University will open in a few days followed by a formulated strategy . University will give a few days’ time to students, say 10 days, for returning to campus as the majority of students are from other states.
- Institutes like Jamia Millia Islamia have however decided that they would wait for UGC guidelines and then decide on reopening.
