IPL 2022
IPL 2022 is scheduled to take place in April-May but the most awaited mega auctions are soon to come in upcoming days. Next edition of player auction are going to take place from 12 February to 13 February in Bengaluru.
With the highest of base price of 2 crores about 48 players choose to go under the hammer under this price category. There are about 17 Indians and 31 Foreign players are in the criteria.
Earlier a total of 1214 players registered for IPL auction but the final list came out of only 590 players. BCCI released a list of 370 Indian player and 220 foreign players who will be under hammer for 2 days starting from 12th February.
Apart from Eight pre existing teams this year two new teams – Lucknow Super Giants and Ahmedabad (yet to be named) will join the world’s most biggest t20 league. IPL 2022 this year is a big hype too because of the world cup T20 in October in Australia. The new budding talents will have to show the guts to come over the situation and showcase the talents. Old teams and the two new teams will search for younger potential players to make their core stronger for the next years of IPL.
BCCI details
This year schedule is yet to come and the steps of league is yet likely to release officially. It is decided that IPL 2022 will take place in India with 25 percent viewers capacity and more likely to take place in Mumbai alone. But for more and related information BCCI is yet to come up with official notice or any news. For the next 4 year television rights BCCI is also looking for around 4000 crores of sponsorship. More interestingly this year’s title sponsor is also a giant in its own field. It is TATA. So this year its TATA IPL 2022.
